      To represent sigmoidal growth, one of the most widely used functions is the Verhulst function, also called the 'logistic function':
        Verhulst function

      Let us explore some properties of this classical logistic function in comparison to the beta density function - we recall that the latter is defined as:
        Beta function
      i.e.
        Beta equation

        For each function, check the box in the form if its corresponding property is true
