GreenLab Plant Model
Applications See (print) full section in pdf
- GreenLab model applications are numerous in agronomy and related plant and crop sciences.
This section gives an overview of the procedures allowing parameter identification from field measurements.
A case study is then presented.
Application
-
This course introduces the procedure for fitting GreenLab model parameters.
- Structure must be fitted first, starting from development up to mortality and branching
- Functional parameters must be fitted after.
-
Structural and functional parameters to be fitted are seen first.
The fitting procedure is then presented:
A case study is then presented.
Exercises are proposed in several sections, mobilizing inline and online tools.
Course Objectives
-
The aim of this course is to enable students to:
- Identify parameters to be fitted from real measurements
- Learn about the fitting procedure, in particular the sequence of parameters to be fitted
- Familiarize themselves with the fitting tools
- Tackle a case study.
