    GreenLab model applications are numerous in agronomy and related plant and crop sciences.
    This section gives an overview of the procedures allowing parameter identification from field measurements.
    A case study is then presented.
Application
    This course introduces the procedure for fitting GreenLab model parameters.

      Structural and functional parameters to be fitted are seen first.

      The fitting procedure is then presented:

      • Structure must be fitted first, starting from development up to mortality and branching

      • Functional parameters must be fitted after.

      A case study is then presented.

      Exercises are proposed in several sections, mobilizing inline and online tools.

Course Objectives
    The aim of this course is to enable students to:

    • Identify parameters to be fitted from real measurements
    • Learn about the fitting procedure, in particular the sequence of parameters to be fitted
    • Familiarize themselves with the fitting tools
    • Tackle a case study.
